Welcome to Jeff Gill’s collection of stories, poems and illustrations. A burrito van appears on Selsley Common in Gloucestershire and changes everything, for a while. A pangolin sells podcasts. A jug of milk tells the truth. A little silver fish leaves the sea for a grand adventure. Children blow things up. Thag and Grok invent misogyny. Two friends spend an afternoon on the Moon. There’s some weird stuff too.
Jeff's new writing and art experiments are peeping out into the wide world from the semi-secret Rumicat newsletter service.
You grow a life with a series of small daily habits. TREE was the happy little morning habit that feds your daily growth. We published TREE every Monday to Thursday for almost six years. It was short. You could read it in about a minute. It was a great way to not start your day with social media or the news.
TREE was completely free.
‘I enjoy starting my day with something positive that also helps me look at ways I can grow. TREE has helped me reframe so many negative perspectives that it’s honestly too much to list.’
TERESA ROBERTS, ARTIST‘TREE is a daily reminder of the power of my tiny incremental steps in a long journey. This morning replacement of my usual doom scrolling through pay per click articles disguised as news has unquestionably improved my life and kicks in the creative juices first thing.’
